A coiled shape as memory

The memory roll has the possibility to contain a letter, or have an engraved / sandblasted text or containing a small amount of ash/soil being encapsulated during the production process. Every roll is unique and of course you can order your own color.

First an amount of colored glass is added on the bottom of the sand mold and afterwards clear glass is being poored over it.
The structure of the sand is still visible at the surface of the roll.
You can also see the partly melted and fully melted colored glass at het outside of the object. It gives it a really natural look.

 Another shape of the memoryroll is made trough the pate de verre technique. Here it is possible to melt your own text to the roll. The glass is rolled-up in a hot kiln (see one of my video's).
